The latest market update paints a good picture over how the domestic and international economies are going. In Australia we have seen relatively flat markets but is in reasonable shape after weather affected the previous quarter’s earnings reports. Internationally there are good signs of global growth with most major economies experiencing accelerated growth. We are hoping that this will continue to grow over the coming years.

For those of you who are still building your career we encourage you to build your advocates, this comes up time and time again. Having a mentor to bounce an idea off or a team of colleagues supporting one another can accelerate your career and the satisfaction you get from work. This is why our careers are not ours alone!

Leading up to retirement you may be looking on how to boost your super a bit quicker? Salary sacrificing part of your wage can accelerate your super balance and may also lower your tax paid. Generally, you salary sacrifice pre-taxed income into your superannuation account whilst you are still working, this is taxed at 15% instead of your marginal tax rate, in most circumstances this also lowers your assessable income as well.
