We are heading into the final weeks before the end of financial year so we thought we might start this important month with our latest News and Views.

Market Update

In the market for the month of May we have seen the markets start to slow down in the mists of the possible trade war between US and China. Domestically we have seen policy makers looking to reduce tax over the coming years in the May budget for low to medium income earners. The housing market has been urged with a note of caution at an economic level, policy makers are concerned that households wont be able to afford rising repayments if the interest rate increases. It’s a sound reminder to make sure that you have a buffer available when making these commitments.
